Tom and I had quite a day today. ^_^ It wasn't much - just a lot of shopping and then dinner - but it was fun. We went to a new-to-us place in Grandview called Paul's on Fifth Avenue. It's a family-owned Italian restaurant with diner prices and a kickass menu. We wouldn't have known it existed at all except that we got a coupon in the mail. ( Read more... )

Today was fun. I went to see Avenue Q with a bunch of my family, and it was even better than I expected. I loved every bit of it. I already knew that the puppeteers would be onstage, singing and manning the puppets, but I didn't really know how that would work until I saw it. Ah, tonight didn't go as planned. We had a decent time, but not as planned. We found out about a fantastic rib restaurant in Cincinnati, so we drove up there.
